After reading your review of Cannibal's 'Gallery Of Suicide', I realized
that the reviewer is a fucking Saxon fan. If you can't appreciate
progressive death metal, then don't review it! Stick to Dio.

Thought your review of "Gallery of suicide" was right on! I think it is
boring, the only Great album is Tomb of The Mutilated! Thanks for the acurate
review

Hell YES!!! WASP was a kick ass band of the 80's and I always wondered
what ever happened to them. Thanks for clearing that up and I'm looking
forward to seeing more articles of TRUE metal bands like this one.KUDOS TO
THE INTERVIEWER your Q's were exactly what I would want to ask Blackie if
I was there.Keep up the good work!

I know the band very well, and a lot of heart is in the lyrics its about
50% real experiences. I don't think mundane metal is a fair term. You
probably review so much music it all sounds a like to you. You don't even
give the singer credit. All vocals are 100% natural except for the one or
two doubleups. There new shit is killer. But if you don't like them then
find another line of work. You sound like Siskell & Ebert oh a another
thumb up my ass.

...famous last words, eh? :) Hi again (I mouthed off about
Bal-Sagoth last time - incidentally, I got that Battle Magic CD, and while
I think it's way better than Starfire Burning Upon the Blah Blah Blah,
it's not as good as A Black Moon Broods Over Lemuria. I just find this
repetitive-synth sound to be inferior to the more straightforward rockin'
approach of their past.) - I thought this issue was very interesting. The
overall body of music you review always gives me the impression that you
guys have a similar range of musical tastes as I do.
The review of Autumn Tears had me instantly searching for an online
mailorder place that had it. The ones I trust didn't, but I'm sure I'll
come across it eventually.
As for suggestions, maybe at some point in or near the Mark Snow
piece you could entreat the readers to immediately run out and get a copy
of the Truth And The Light CD, since it kicks ass, imo, especially the
Duane Barry-themed song.
Great job - online zines usually bore me, but this one's very
pertintent to my tastes. [...]
Thanks,

Hi there. I just read your review of the new Bal-Sagoth CD. It's still
on its way to me from Red Stream as we speak, but I just wanted to comment.
You didn't mention if you listened to "A Black Moon Broods Over Lemuria" or
not in the article, but if you haven't, you should check it out! You will
be blown away, this I promise. I think you'll find it to be better and more
intense than "Starfire Burning..." (which I was a bit disappointed with).
Anyway, that's my official comment on Bal-Sagoth. Take care!
