Review by Don Stenhouse

There was a time when I felt there was no room in rock for women, especially in death metal. Sonia, the female drummer for Unnatural just pounded my head in for thinking that. She is very impressive and has a deadly technique. I can tell a lot of hard work and dedication has gone into this CD. Of the drawbacks is the disc is only 4 songs long and the that the bands they are influenced by come shining through. Otherwise this recording is a definite must for anybody who loves death metal. It pounds from beginning to end with taste and conviction. Unnatural are shooting for the throne of death metal with tones of heart and intensity. In my eyes if they stick it out they will achieve their goals.

I feel that their influences come out heavily in their sound. I strongly suggest that they dig deeper into their black souls to find the true Unnatural riffs they were put here to play. This band is absolutely great in every other aspect. The musicianship is excellent: the guitaring is awesome; demonic vocals rock; pounding bass; and chaotic drums. I love this band and so do my friends. Find this disc and buy it. You will not regret it.
