Fast and intense are the qualities that were attempted on this recording. Not more than a couple of riffs per song would make it rather boring - were the songs themselves were not so short. A lack of consideration for timings and transitions means this album sounds quite raw. I guess this is all a roundabout way of saying that it's thrash. It's almost more like grindcore but the actual notes and vocals aren't drawn into a cacophonous expanse so characteristic of the grindcore sound.
Generally guitar-driven with the standard power metal approach of deep intense, often palm muted assaults, yet punk driven with the high/low pitched combinations. It has to be said that somewhere in the recording session they started to decide they'd shoot for more melody and try to garnish some modern power metal styles, which fits in well with their continued thrash assault!
A strong ensemble of intense musicianship brings out this not too original, yet very interesting album. Whether you are a Biohazard fan, a Slayer fan, or a Pro-Pain fan, there is definitely something here for you.
